West End Live – Sunday 19 Sept 2010
Boundary Street was transformed into a fun and funky street festival! Full of cool music, food and quirkyness! If you missed it, here is a glimpse of what happened! Live music on 2 stages, all day! Impromptu performances, exhibitions, dancing, bmx trick riding, hoola-hooping….. and impressive artistic installations by A Close Knit (West End State School, and West End Community House Participants).
Look out for a most interesting crafty installation at this years Brisbane Festival! Donna Toussaint is the mastermind behind this creative project, which involved 612 ABC radio listeners donating an A4 sized piece of knitting, to contribute to the porta-cosy! [Anna Bligh contributed the first rectangle pictured below!]
